This Privacy Policy describes how NeuroAI Inc. (“NeuroAI,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you access or use our website (the “Site”), and our BRIDGES Engage platform and its various features (the “Platform”) (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy also applies to information we collect when you interact with us, including through emails or our other customer support channels.
Note that within this Policy, references to “your information” include all information provided by you, including information about yourself as well as information about your child (or the child you are acting as caregiver to). The Platform is designed to support caregivers in tracking and managing developmental information for children under their care.
Currently, the Services we make available through our Platform include the following:
- BRIDGES Connect – An educational hub providing caregivers with vetted resources, courses, and peer-support opportunities.
- BRIDGES Passport – A secure tool for documenting and sharing structured developmental data with healthcare providers.
- BRIDGES Journal – A logging system for caregiver-tracked developmental milestones, behavioral patterns, and uploaded media.
- BRIDGES Allie – An AI-powered assistant providing non-diagnostic, informational insights based on user engagement.
- BRIDGES My Child – A consolidated summary tool organizing key child-related developmental records.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this Policy. If we make material changes, we will provide you with additional notice (such as by adding a statement to the Services or sending you a notification). We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.
Consent
By submitting personal information to NeuroAI, our service providers, or our agents, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and transfer of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and as permitted or required by law.
You may withdraw your consent at any time to the collection, use, disclosure, or transfer of your personal information by contacting NeuroAI as set forth in the Contact Us section below. If you withdraw your consent (or if you decide not to provide certain personal information), you acknowledge that NeuroAI may not be able to provide you, or continue to provide you, with our Services or information that may be of value to you.
Note: Caregivers may revoke access of a health care provider to shared data at any time through the Platform’s settings.
1. Immediate Revocation – Once revoked, the provider will lose access to shared data.
2. Provider’s Retention of Data – NeuroAI cannot guarantee that providers will delete previously received copies of shared data. Caregivers must request deletion directly from the provider if needed.
3. NeuroAI’s Limited Role – NeuroAI does not have the authority to remove shared data from a provider’s system once transmitted by the caregiver through BRIDGES Passport. It is the caregiver’s responsibility to ensure that any necessary deletions occur outside of BRIDGES Engage.
Collection of Information
The information we collect about you depends on how you use our Services or otherwise interact with us. In this section, we describe the kinds of information we collect and the sources of this information.
Information You Provide to Us
To use the Platform and access our Services, you must register and create an account. The following information may be collected:
- Full name (optional; users may choose to provide only initials)
- Email address (required for account setup and communication)
- Phone number (optional; provided only if users opt into SMS-based notifications or customer support interactions)
- Username and password (encrypted for security and authentication purposes)
- Communication records (e.g., inquiries submitted to customer support, messages exchanged with NeuroAI representatives)
- Activity logs (e.g., login timestamps, platform interactions, engagement analytics)
The Platform is designed to support caregivers in tracking and managing developmental information for children under their care. Any personal information relating to a child is collected directly from the caregiver (we do not collect information directly from children). This information may include:
- Child’s name or initials (optional; users may choose to anonymize identifiers)
- Date of birth or age group (required for developmental tracking purposes)
- Developmental history and behavioral observations (e.g., caregiver-submitted milestones, notes on behavioral progress)
- Pre-assessment data (structured responses entered in BRIDGES Passport to assist in sharing information with healthcare providers)
- Uploaded media (images/videos) (optional; used in BRIDGES Journal for caregivers to document behavioral patterns and developmental milestones)
We do not collect, use or disclose medical records, diagnostic reports, or genetic information relating to your child, unless explicitly uploaded by you for your own record-keeping. You maintain complete control over your child’s information and may delete or restrict access at any time.
Information We Collect Automatically
We automatically collect certain information about your interactions with us or our Services, including:
- Device information (browser type, operating system, IP address)
- Session metadata (timestamps, session durations, engagement analytics)
- Crash logs and error reports (used exclusively for troubleshooting and system performance monitoring)
NeuroAI uses industry-standard encryption and anonymization techniques to protect metadata and prevent unauthorized tracking of users.
Use of Information
We use the information we collect as follows:
- To provide you with the Services;
- Respond to your inquiries, fulfill your requests, process your transactions, and provide customer service;
- Provide, maintain, repair, improve, and develop products and services, including to develop and train our AI-powered features, including BRIDGES Allie;
- Send administrative information and technical notices to you, such as changes to our terms, conditions, and policies, security alerts, and other transactional or relationship messages;
- Communicate with you about products, services, and events offered by NeuroAI and others and provide news and information that we think will interest you;
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services;
- Facilitate certain internal business purposes, such as data analysis, audits, fraud detection and prevention, and to detect, investigate, respond to, prosecute, and help protect against security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, or illegal activity;
- Comply with our legal and financial obligations;
- Create de-identified, anonymized or aggregated information; and
- Carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected.
NeuroAI does not modify, edit, or interfere with user-submitted data, except as necessary to maintain system integrity, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, or enhance security.
If you upload videos or other images through the Platform:
- No facial recognition or biometric analysis is conducted on submitted videos.
- No long-term storage of video content for AI training occurs; all media-based AI processing is performed in real time unless explicitly saved by the user.
- Users have full control over media uploads and deletions through their account settings.
Analytics
To optimize Platform usability and improve the quality of caregiver resources available through the Services, we use aggregated and anonymized engagement analytics for the following purposes:
- Assessing user engagement trends to optimize Platform navigation and improve user accessibility.
- Personalizing educational content recommendations based on caregiver interaction patterns within BRIDGES Connect.
- Monitoring and improving platform performance, including the identification of technical inefficiencies and user experience bottlenecks.
All engagement analytics are fully anonymized and de-identified to ensure that individual users cannot be identified in the data analysis process. NeuroAI does not create predictive profiles of users for commercial or advertising-based data modeling.
AI-Generated Insights (Optional Feature)
NeuroAI offers an optional artificial intelligence (AI)-driven insights feature, BRIDGES Allie, which processes caregiver-submitted information to generate non-diagnostic, informational insights.
If you have opted-in to this feature, AI-generated insights are produced in real-time based on user-provided logs, uploaded media, and engagement history via the Platform. BRIDGES Engage does not use AI models for continuous learning or long-term data profiling. Specifically:
- Data Processing: AI models analyze inputted text, behavioral logs, and structured caregiver responses to generate non-diagnostic summaries.
- Session-Based Insights: AI-generated content is processed within the current user session only and is not stored beyond the session unless explicitly saved by the user.
- No Automated Medical Decision-Making: AI does not assign risk scores, generate diagnostic labels, or make treatment recommendations. Users are encouraged to consult qualified clinicians for medical decisions.
If you choose to opt-in to receive AI-generated insights, the following personal information may be used:
- Caregiver-provided text-based data, including logs, behavioral tracking, and developmental observations.
- Uploaded media content, including images and videos, submitted voluntarily by the user.
- Engagement data, including caregiver interactions with platform features (e.g., logged activity patterns, session frequency).
- User feedback on AI-generated insights, used to refine recommendations.
Further, if you opt-in to the into this feature, logged data may be used to:
- Generate personalized caregiving prompts to support the user’s tracking and intervention efforts.
- Identify patterns and trends in child behavior or developmental progress based on caregiver-reported logs.
- Suggest relevant educational materials aligned with the user’s engagement history and inputted concerns.
NeuroAI ensures that all AI processing occurs in a secure, encrypted environment and that no AI-generated content is stored unless explicitly saved by the user.
BRIDGES Engage AI models:
- Do not generate individualized risk scores or clinical recommendations.
- Do not automatically determine service eligibility or intervention pathways.
- Do not engage in behavioral profiling beyond the context of informational summaries for user review.
Any AI-generated content is presented as a supplementary resource rather than a directive for action. Caregivers may opt out of AI-generated insights at any time through their account settings, at which point no further AI analysis will be conducted on any submitted information. Note that no AI-driven insights generated by BRIDGES Allie are used to make medical determinations, treatment recommendations, or eligibility assessments.
NeuroAI is committed to transparency in AI decision-making and ensures that AI-generated insights are:
- Explainable: Users can access a summary of how AI-driven insights are generated based on their data.
- Non-discriminatory: AI models are designed to prevent biased or discriminatory content.
- Auditable: Users can request a review of AI-generated insights to ensure accuracy and fairness.
NeuroAI continuously monitors and updates AI models to align with ethical AI standards and regulatory requirements.
Disabling AI-Generated Insights
Note that once enabled through your opting in, you can disable AI-generated insights via the BRIDGES Engage platform’s privacy settings, or contact support@neuroai.ca to request the manual deactivation of AI-driven features. If you decide to disable the AI feature:
- AI-generated insights will no longer be processed for your account.
- Any previously saved AI-driven recommendations will remain accessible unless manually deleted by you.
- Any uploaded videos or images used for AI-generated insights will be deleted, unless explicitly retained by you.
NeuroAI does not retain historical AI-generated insights beyond the active session, unless explicitly saved by the user.
Disclosure of Information
We disclose information about you as follows:
- Vendors and Service Providers. We disclose certain personal information to vendors, service providers and contractors if they need access to this information to provide services to us, such as website hosting and cloud storage, data analytics and security monitoring services, as well as customer support platforms and communication tools. The types of personal information disclosed to a vendor depends on the specific services that vendor provides.
- Law Enforcement Authorities and Individuals Involved in Legal Proceedings. We disclose your personal information if we believe that disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests from public and government authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
- To Protect the Rights of NeuroAI and Others. We disclose personal information if we believe that your actions are inconsistent with our terms and conditions or policies, if we believe that you have violated the law, or if we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of NeuroAI, our affiliates, you, or users, the public, or others.
- Corporate Transactions. We disclose personal information in connection with, or during negotiations concerning, any reorganization, merger, sale of company assets, joint venture, assignment, transfer, financing, or acquisition or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
- Professional Advisors. We disclose information to our lawyers and other professional advisors where necessary to obtain advice or otherwise protect and manage our business interests.
- Corporate Affiliates. Personal information is disclosed between and among NeuroAI and our corporate affiliates.
- With Your Consent or at Your Direction. We disclose personal information with your consent or at your direction.
Through the Platform, you may also choose to voluntarily share select information with healthcare providers (via the BRIDGES Passport feature). The data-sharing mechanism is subject to the following controls and limitations:
- Caregiver-controlled access: Data is only shared when a user actively selects the healthcare provider to whom they wish to transmit information.
- Read-only provider access: Healthcare providers may view caregiver-submitted data but cannot edit, alter, or update the information within the Platform.
- Revocable permissions: Users retain the right to withdraw provider access at any time through the Platform’s settings.
NeuroAI does not monitor, verify, or assume responsibility for how third-party healthcare professionals interpret or utilize caregiver-shared data. Users are advised to consult directly with the receiving provider regarding the handling of shared information. In addition, NeuroAI does not sell, rent, or commercialize user data for advertising, marketing, or third-party profiling.
Data Transfers
NeuroAI is based in the Canada and we and our service providers process and store personal information in Canada and the United States. Where required by law, we provide adequate protection for the transfer of personal information in accordance with applicable law. Users residing in jurisdictions with specific data localization requirements may request information regarding the location of their stored data by contacting support@neuroai.ca.
Transfers out of Canada/Quebec
Your personal information may be stored, accessed, used and otherwise processed inside and outside of Quebec and/or Canada. When personal information is located outside Quebec and/or Canada, it may be subject to laws that have different standards of protection and may allow for foreign law enforcement and governmental access.
Access and Correction
We will take reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we hold is accurate, complete and up-to-date. Upon your written request, and subject to certain exceptions provided by law, we will inform you of the existence, use, and disclosure of your personal information and give you access to that information. We may charge a minimal fee for providing such access to you. If you believe that the personal information that we hold about you is not accurate or complete, you may write to us at support@neuroai.ca. If you are able to establish that the information is not accurate or complete, we will take reasonable steps to delete and/or correct the information so that it is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. In order to facilitate a request to correct or update information, we may ask you to provide additional information to confirm your identity. Any such information will only be used for the purpose of confirming your identity and will not be retained by us.
If you are a resident of Quebec, we will inform you if we exclusively use automated processing to render a decision about you. You also have the right to request information about the personal information used to make that decision, and to request that the information be corrected. Users in Quebec also have a right to data portability.
Retention of Personal Information
The personal information that you provide will be retained by us in accordance with applicable laws. However, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information we hold if it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected.
Safeguards
NeuroAI implements both technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including industry-standard encryption protocols to protect all user data in transit and at rest.
Further, NeuroAI maintains a real-time security monitoring system to detect and mitigate cybersecurity threats.
Canada’s Anti Spam Law
NeuroAI will only send you commercial electronic messages (“CEMs”) where we have your express or implied consent to do so. Your consent to receive CEMs is implied where we have an existing business relationship with you, or you have reached out to us and made an inquiry within a certain time frame. You may unsubscribe from receiving CEMs at any time, by clicking the unsubscribe button on an email. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional messages, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
